Nathaniel Peters

Biography

Nathan has a wealth of experience assisting clients in a wide variety of litigation areas. He is an experienced commercial litigator with expertise in financial services litigation, patent litigation, class action litigation, real estate disputes, and bank operations matters. For years he has served as a skilled advocate for clients of all sizes, from small local businesses to internationally recognized companies.

His past experience includes managing nation-wide defense of mortgage and credit lawsuits as defense counsel for large financial institutions like JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, and others, encompassing claims under TILA, FCRA, ECOA, the Peralta Mortgage Relief Act, TARP, and HBOR, and mediating consumer financial services transaction disputes to successful resolution.

Since joining the firm, Nathan has been responsible for handling estate planning, elder law, and litigation matters in the firm’s San Francisco office.

Education

Nathan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with high honors, from the University of California at Berkeley, in 1999. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Michigan Law School in 2006.
